From a fisherman to a disciple
From catching fish to people
You make a decision to follow Jesus
And from Simon your name became Stone (Aramaic: "stone," Greek: "Petros," which in English is rendered as Peter).

You were one of the three main apostles
Along with James and John, you were chosen
To be present during important moments
To Jesus, and regards as one of His closest

You witnessed the transfiguration
You tried to walk on water with Jesus
You prompted Jesus' sharp reply ("Get behind Me Satan").
Still you are part of the closest ones.

How was it like when you deny Him thrice?
How was it like when He asked you thrice?
Did you ever get jealous with John?
And why asked Lord, what about him (John)?

I am writing down dear Peter
Asking Lord what about him? (not John)
But God has the same reply to me
What is that to you? You must follow Me...
